We bought and installed the solid wood closet organizer in white. Because John Louis closet system has the grooves on the sides unlike others with holes, we can add these drawers. We ordered 3 of the 8" drawers. It came with the soft close mechanisms. They worked well. I wished the spring mechanism is a bit stronger. I feel like the closing needs a bit of force. But these drawers fitted perfectly. 8" drawers have the plenty space. More space than we anticipated. Very nice! One drawer needed vertical adjustments. It was easy to adjust. Instruction photos may need improvements though. Overall, excellent real solid wood drawers. They look great! Sean Leonberger designed our walk-in closet and coordinated till we finished with the systems. His responses were great! They provided more than enough parts to finish the system. We were left few shelves, screws and brackets. No worries on missing parts!

We ordered 3 closet systems on 3 walls for our walk-in closet. Sean did an excellent designing the room. We ordered 3 extra drawers. Drawers and shelves can be added later. Unlike other closet system, these are solid wood. We ordered white. Instruction photo is hard to see, but instructional videos helps! Once understanding the installation process, the installation went good. Use metal cutting blade with a miter saw for the hanging bar. It's a solid metal! Few issues, warped one of glass door, one drawer handle holes didn't aligned.
One advise on the tower piece, instead of removing from the wall for the anchors, just leave it and shift to the right or left just enough to clear the anchor holes.
My wife loves it! Happy wife, happy life!! LOL

We are still adding to our closet system after 8 years and still love it! Durable and luxurious

I wanted to add 2 shelves and did not realize how easy this was. Just ordered them and I was able to install them myself. It was simple and they look beautiful. Thank you John Louis Home.

I ordered this product and UPS messed up the delivery and did not deliver the tower portion of this assembly. I reached out to John Louis and after little conversation they offered to send another tower unit to me. Not only is the product great but customer service was incredible. I’ll be doing more business with them VERY soon !

Easy to put together. The product is made good. I bought other pieces for my closet and will be buying a few more to complete my closet makeover. High recommend.

Great product for the price. The drawers glide nicely, wood is solid, nice color selection for finish. Would love to see and option to upgrade for solid panels via slatted. A bit more padding in boxes for shipping, had alot of small dings

Great product together easily. My only complaint is the screws for the drawer slides kept breaking off at the head. Seems like they should put a little more money into those screws. Make them just a bit stronger. Besides that everything assembled nicely.

I have probably designed and installed 25 of these systems as a developer designer. My only problem lately is the little plugs that cover the screws on the corbels do not fit they are too small and fall out, we had to glue them in.

Once order is placed, prepare your walls because shipping is super fast! I installed 4 John Louis Coset Organizers. “Anybody Can Do It” applied to this woman, age 60, who never used a circular saw before. Bought a handheld Ryobi Circular saw for this project. Made a makeshift saw table with my furniture mover turned upside down. Watched a lot of tutorials, and used my quilting ruler to clamp down a metal guide 1 1/8 inch from my cut line for my particular saw to make beautiful cuts. Sometimes needed a bit of sanding to make the shelf fit. I like edges to meet the hardware so used pieces of shims and caulk for a finished look if needed. I used the tip of backing out a clip from the wall, but only had to do this with 2 clips. I used an inch and half level on my clips before tightening the screws by hand. I did need different drywall anchors than the ones provided for my drywall. Also followed tracing around shelfends in position with a level for proper placement of hardware. One 48” board is provided to make 2 shelves for the tower. I used a smaller drill bit size for pegs so they were snug. I used the tip from johnlouiscanada of placing a screw ( the leftover 1” screws work) in the slot above the shelf bracket to keep it from rocking especially when using the wall anchors for the brackets. A small pilot hole in the middle of the slat 1/2 inch in then hand tightening screw worked perfectly. I can see that different buildings might have different variables to consider when installing, but I’m in new construction so everything fit precisely as engineered. I wanted 15” above the tower so placed at 81” and my long hang at 68” or 69”. I made use of stud placement in configurations. These kits are genius and the hardware and shelving are beautiful!

This is perfect for the kids shoes right in the hallway, helping them to not track germs in the house.

I bought the red mahogany set and it is red. But once installed doesn't look as bright red. It is very solid and rich looking and has made our closet functional. I would recommend this closet system.

Just beautiful in red mahogany. We already have several of their closet systems and they are well-made, sturdy, and handsome units. They can be cut to fit if necessary, have open venilation in each shelf, and can handle 25lbs per foot. Why pay a carpenter to build your closets, buy the wood, paint them where they look good for two years before getting scuffed up when you can buy these durable classy units for hundreds of dollars less.
