The "Locked-In" Finish: The Garment Bar End serves two critical functions in the John Louis Home system. First, it provides a clean, finished aesthetic that covers the hollow metal rod. Second, and more importantly, it acts as a safety stop, ensuring your hangers stay on the bar even when you are sliding clothes quickly during a busy morning.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough Installation

Steps: Insert, Turn, and Lock

This hardware is designed for simplicity. Take the Bar End and push it firmly into the open end of your metal garment bar.

Once inserted, turn the end cap clockwise. As you turn, the internal fins will expand outward, gripping the inside of the bar. Continue turning until the cap is tight and cannot be pulled out by hand. Repeat this for the opposite end.

Expert's Tip: If the bar end spins without tightening, pull it out slightly and bend the internal metal fins outward just a tiny bit. This gives them a better "bite" on the inside of the tube when you start turning.
