Before You Start
The Tall Tower is a different beast than the standard cube. Because of its height, you can't build it upright. Clear some floor space—you need room to lay the panels flat without scratching them.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough Installation
Step 1: Installing the Shelf Hardware
Start by inserting the barrel nuts (D) into the pre-drilled holes on all five shelves. Make sure the threaded hole is facing outward toward the shelf edge. Next, tap the wooden dowel pins (F) into the center holes of your side panels. Pro Tip: Use a flathead screwdriver to ensure the slot on the barrel nuts is perfectly horizontal; this small adjustment ensures the bolt catches the thread instantly in the next step.
Step 2: The "Ladder" Stack
Align all five shelves with the dowel locations and seat them. Thread the barrel bolts (C) through the side panel and into the shelves. Tighten them down with the Allen wrench until snug. You now have a stable "half-ladder" frame.
Align the second side panel with the dowels on the shelves. Thread the remaining barrel bolts and tighten. Installer Insight: If you are planning to mount this unit horizontally, take a second now to check which side looks best. That will be your "top."
Step 3: Finishing Touches & Safety
For a furniture-grade look, insert bolt caps into exposed holes and place finish stickers over the interior cam locks. Finally, install the anti-tip hardware by marking your wall stud, securing the bracket, and tightening the zip-tie for a child-safe, rock-solid mount.
If you are stacking units, or using side by side, secure the brackets on the back edges, always drilling pilot holes first to prevent the wood from splitting.
Step 4: The Floating Mount (or Horizontal Cube Shelf)
For Horizontal Cube Shelf Wall Mounting: Mark a level line on your wall, secure the L-brackets into studs, and lift the unit onto the brackets. Secure it by driving screws from the underside of the unit up into the bracket. This gives you that clean, "floating" look with zero visible hardware on top. The finish off by inserting bolt caps into exposed holes and place finish stickers over the interior cam locks.
