Professional Insight: The Side Mount Rack is the "workhorse" of closet accessories. Unlike under-mount options, this rack attaches directly to the vertical storage tower, making it easier to access at eye level. Expert Tip: We often install these in pairs—one high for ties and one low for belts. To complete your organizational setup, consider adding a Valet Rod on the opposite side of your tower. It creates a dedicated "staging area" for tomorrow's outfit right next to your accessories.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough Installation
Step 1: Mark & Install Brackets
Grab the bracket template included in your kit. Hold it against the side of your tower rail at the height you want (usually eye level). Mark the screw locations with a pencil. Align the top hole of your first bracket with the mark and drive in the #6 3/4" wood screw. Repeat this for the second bracket. >Experts's Note: If installing two racks, double-check your spacing so they don't overlap.
Step 2: Prepare the Glide
Before mounting, you need to separate the rack. Fully extend the glide until you see the black plastic lever inside the track. Flip that lever up to release the lock, then pull the glide back (the metal track part) completely away from the main belt & tie rack. Set the rack part aside for a moment.
Step 3: Attach & Re-Insert
Take that metal glide back and position it against your installed brackets—make sure the open face of the track is pointing outward. Secure it to the brackets using the 1/4" machine screws. Once tight, slide the main belt & tie rack back into the track. push it all the way in until you hear it click and lock. Cycle it in and out a few times to ensure smooth operation.
Optional: Changing Orientation
Need the rack to face the other way? No problem. Pull the rack firmly outward to pop it out of its plastic frame. Flip it over to your desired left or right orientation, then snap it back into the frame until it locks. It's fully reversible to fit any closet layout.
