Professional Insight: Belts and ties are notorious for creating "visual clutter" in an otherwise clean closet. This Under Mount Rack solves that by tucking them away beneath a shelf, utilizing vertical space that often goes wasted. For a complete "hidden storage" system, we recommend pairing this with our Pull-Out Pant Rack. Both units slide out for easy access but disappear when not in use, keeping your wardrobe looking streamlined.

This installation involves small screws, so having a magnetized screwdriver can be a huge help. Clear a small workspace to assemble the slide mechanism before taking it to the closet. Check your hardware against the list below.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough Installation
Step 1: Disassemble the Slide
Start by extending the slide mechanism all the way out until you see the black plastic release lever. (Expert Tip: It works just like a kitchen drawer slide). Press the lever to release the lock, then pull the detachable glide portion (the part with the hooks) completely off the main rail. Set the hook part aside for now.
Step 2: Attach Brackets to Slide
Take one mounting bracket and face it downward so the flanges point out. Place the stationary slide rail onto the bracket, aligning the holes. Secure them together using the 1/4" machine screws. Repeat this for the second bracket on the other end of the slide. You should now have a slide with a bracket at each end, ready to mount.
Step 3: Mount to Tower & Re-Insert
Position your assembled slide against the inside front shelf rail, just under a shelf. Secure it using the 3/4" screws in the top holes and the 1/2" screws in the bottom holes. Once tight, simply take the rack part you removed in Step 1, line it up with the tracks, and push it back in. Cycle it in and out a few times to make sure it clicks and locks properly.
