Q.How high should I mount the top shelf?

A.A professional standard is 84 inches. This height allows for a "double-hang" setup—where you place a second bar at 48 inches—effectively doubling the amount of clothes you can hang in the same space. A professional standard for long hang is 72 inches. However you can position the shelf height to any height to meet your needs.
