Step-by-Step Walkthrough Installation

Step 1: Tower Frame Assembly

Lay the two tower sides on the floor with the grooves facing up. Drop the cam bolts into the bottom holes first. When you connect the Bottom Cam Shelf (look for the nameplate), tighten those cam nuts clockwise until they lock in solid.

Step 2: Attach Top Shelf

Slide the top shelf into the notches. You'll use the barrel nuts and bolts here—use the Allen wrench to get them snug. Once the frame is together, screw the six tower brackets into the pre-drilled holes on the sides.

Step 3: Hardware & Stabilizer Bar Placement

Lay the tower face down (nameplate touching the floor). You need to install three brackets on each side, but placement matters. Count the grooves starting from the top:

  • Top Bracket: Place between the 1st & 2nd groove.
  • Middle Bracket: Place between the 8th & 9th groove.
  • Bottom Bracket: Place in the flat space between the last groove and the bottom edge.

The Screw Swap (Important): Secure the top and bottom brackets right now using the #8 3/4 in. screws. But for the middle brackets, stop.

You need to install the Tower Stabilizer Bar at that middle location. Nest the bar ends into the middle brackets and secure them using the longer #8 1 in. screws. This bar keeps the tower perfectly square while you move it.

Pro Tip: You can remove the bar after installation if you want a cleaner look, but you must swap the 1 inch screws back to the 3/4 inch screws so they don't poke through. Most people just leave it in.

Step 4: Wall Mounting Preparation

Draw a 22 inch wide level line on the wall where you want the tower top to sit (usually 84 inches from the floor). Screw two L-clips onto that line. If you can hit a stud, do it; otherwise, the wall anchors work fine.

Watch Step 4

Step 5: Final Mounting

Lift the tower onto those L-clips. Put your level on the side to make sure it's plumb (straight up and down). Mark your bracket holes. If anchors are required, remove the tower and install the anchors at the marked locations. Replace the tower and finish by securing the hardware to the wall and the tower to the L-clips. Pop the mushroom caps in to hide the holes.

Step 6: Shelves, Drawers & Doors

Now comes the fun part - making it yours. Pop the shelf pins into the pre-drilled holes and slide your adjustable shelves in wherever you need them.

Adding Drawers or Doors? The spacing for drawers and doors has to be exact. Don't try to wing it. Scroll back to the top of this guide. We have linked the specific installation guides for those add-ons right there so you can it right the first time.

IMPORTANT: To keep this stable, the tower needs to sit flush against the back wall. We strongly suggest hitting at least one stud with the mounting screws for maximum hold.

Still planning your layout?

If you are reading these instructions just to see how much work is involved before you buy, that's a smart move. The big takeaway here is the material: this is 100% solid wood, which holds up differently than standard particle board kits. If you haven't settled on the 12-inch versus 16-inch depth yet, look at the full lineup to see which footprint fits your wall space best.
