Step-by-Step Walkthrough Installation
Pro Tip: If installing multiple drawers of any heights (6", 8", 10"), always install from the bottom up to manage your vertical spacing effectively.
Step 1: Door Preparation
- Lay the doors flat and secure the soft-close hinges into the pre-bored holes using #6 1/2 in. screws.
- Once the hinges are set, install your door handles.
- Pro Tip: Avoid using a drill for the handle screws; a manual screwdriver prevents over-tightening and protects the door face.
Step 2: Mounting to the Tower
- Align the door so it sits flush with the top of the tower.
- Once the hinges are set, install your door handles.
- With the door hinges closed, mark the top and bottom hinge oval hole location on the tower rail.
- Secure this first hinge with a 1/2 in. screw, then repeat for the remaining hinge.
- Pro Tip: Using the oval holes first allows for minor vertical movements later.
- Repeat steps for the 2nd door.
Step 3: Precision 3-Way Door Adjustment
Pro Fit: Close the doors and inspect the center gap. A "Pro-Fit" means zero rubbing. Use the adjustment screws to calibrate:
- Vertical (Up/Down): Loosen the screws in the oval holes and slide the door.
- Depth (In/Out): Use the front-most hinge screw to bring the door flush with the tower face.
- Lateral (Forward/Back): Use the rear hinge screw to close the center gap between the two doors.
Once perfectly aligned, drive the remaining 1/2 in. screws into the permanent round holes to lock the position.
Step 4: Finishing & Quick Release Feature
- Apply the rubber bumpers to the inside corners—this ensures a silent, high-end feel when closing.
- Snap the hinge covers on to conceal the hardware.
Pro Tip: These hinges feature a quick-release lever. If you need to move shelves later, just pull the back lever to pop the door off without losing your alignment settings.
