Q.What specific tools do I need for Installation?

A.You will need a tape measure, level, screwdriver, and power drill. For precision cuts, we highly recommend a power miter saw with a fine-toothed blade to ensure the wood and metal garment bars have clean, burr-free edges.

Q.Is this real wood or a veneer?

A.This is 100% solid kiln-dried wood. We do not use MDF, particle board, or wood-grain Veneer.

Q.What are the exact dimensions of the tower?

A.The tower measures 72.7" high and 26.25" wide on the outside. The interior space is exactly 24 inches wide, which is our standard fit for all modular drawers and adjustable shelving.

Q.How high should I mount the top shelf?

A.A professional standard is 84 inches. This height allows for a "double-hang" setup—where you place a second bar at 48 inches—effectively doubling the amount of clothes you can hang in the same space. A professional standard for long hang is 84 inches. However you can position the shelves at any height that meets your needs and layout.

Q.How much weight can this system really hold?

Easy to assemble, just takes time and patience, and Youtube!

I just finished installing the organizer. It looks great, and went together really easy. The reason it went together so easy is the youtube video they put out is perfect for making the installation easy. I did not have a single item break, I didnt have any issues and everything is very solid. If the time is spent making sure everything is level, it all goes together nicely. The youtube videos that John Louis Home have are excellent, if you build the organizer along with the dude in the video and use the tips he gives for mounting the shelves, and the added tips about securing the shelves to the arms, it goes together VERY easy. Taking extra time up front and taking accurate measurements and using a good 4ft level to draw plumb lines is key. I put up two sets in 5 hours from start to finish. The first one took me about 4 hours, the second 1 hours. I recommend the unit, looks great! Take your sweet time installing it and you wont have any problems.

Excellent product

I was looking to replace my wire closet organizer and searched for a while before stumbling upon the John Louis Home website. I have an odd shaped closet so I enlisted the help of the JLH designer ‚David, who helped me determine all of the components I needed. The product arrived quickly and well packaged. As some others here have said, the directions were a bit hard to follow, so I looked at as many videos as I could find on YouTube to get an idea of how everything went together. Overall the product is beautiful and extremely functional. So much so, that I bought more for a second closet. The price on the JLH product was better than everything else I saw.

Upgrade - yes!

The most amazing product for the money. I literally stared at my closet for months when these were first installed. Will garner increase in selling when house goes up for sale.
