A.A. Yes. You can cut the solid wood shelves down with a hand saw to match your exact wall measurements. The clear acrylic liners cut easily with household scissors, and the included metal end brackets cover the cut wood edges cleanly.

Q.Q. Will storing heavy kitchen appliances make the shelves sag?

A.A. No. Because the brackets fasten directly into your wall studs, these solid wood shelves easily support 25 lbs per foot. Heavy slow cookers, mixers, and cast-iron pots won't bow the center of the shelf.

Q.Q. Do the clear liners slide around when pulling items off the shelf?

A.A. No. The liners drop right down into the recessed bed of the shelf directly over the wood slats, so they stay firmly in place. You can also lift them out whenever you need to wash off a sticky spill in the sink.

Q.Q. Do these shelves have to be screwed into wall studs?

A.A. It is recommended. Screwing your support brackets directly into wall studs is what gives solid wood its strength and prevents sagging or pulling away from the drywall under heavy weight. However if no stud is present you may use the heavy duty wall anchors supplied.

Q.Q. Is anything sitting on the pantry floor?

A.A. No. The entire system is wall-mounted, meaning there are no floor legs or posts in the way. Your pantry floor stays wide open for large storage tubs, pet food containers, or step stools.
